Reportiva — Field Data Collection Platform
Reportiva is a cross-platform field data collection and monitoring & evaluation platform built for NGOs and development organizations operating across Liberia's rural communities. Designed for environments where connectivity is unreliable and field teams are distributed, the platform allows field officers to collect structured data on mobile devices, validate entries at the point of capture, and sync automatically when internet access becomes available — eliminating the delays and errors that come with paper-based collection. Program managers access real-time dashboards showing submission rates, geographic distribution, and key indicators without waiting for data to travel from the field.

The challenge
Across Liberia's rural counties, field officers were collecting monitoring and evaluation data the way they always had — on paper. Forms were completed in the field, carried back to district offices, and manually entered into spreadsheets days or weeks later. By the time program managers saw the numbers, the reporting window had often already closed. Errors accumulated at every handoff, geographic coverage was invisible in real time, and donor deliverables were built on data that was already stale before it was submitted.
Our approach
BRIDGES designed and built Reportiva from the ground up for the operating reality of Liberia's field environment — not for the assumptions of software built elsewhere. The platform runs natively on Android devices, works fully offline, and synchronizes automatically the moment connectivity is detected. Field officers complete structured digital forms with built-in validation that catches errors at the point of entry, before bad data can travel up the chain. Form structures are configurable by program managers without technical assistance, allowing organizations to adapt their data collection instruments as programs evolve. On the back end, a real-time dashboard gives program managers immediate visibility into submission rates, field officer activity, and key indicators by geography — turning what was a weeks-long reporting cycle into a continuous data stream.
The impact
Reduced data collection cycle times from weeks to hours, giving program managers real-time insights across 6 counties.
